I just posted an article about social networking and how I sometimes get overwhelmed by it all. I also created a funny music video about it called Social Networking Blues All fun aside, I have read horror stories about tragic consequences due to excessive social networking. Leading me to ask:
Is social networking hazardous to your health?
I welcome all comments and insights, as well as feedback about my post and my music video.
Great video, Mike. I believe life needs to have a balance and if too much time is spent sitting in front of the computer, it's not a good thing. Getting outside and visiting the "real" world is the sometimes the best medicine.
All this social stuff is waaaay overwhleming. I have to stick to just a few favorites. Besides, what good is it to live lakefront if I never get outside?
The problem is, everyone's telling you you have to do all of this to make money. But think about it. It's crazy, isn't it? Kinda defeats the social aspect, doesn't it?
You know the funny thing? The kids who started all this are barely online anymore. My daughter is hardly ever at the computer anymore. MySpace is a has been. Now its chronic texting. But at least they're getting out.
