My goal is to improve my exercise habits to be able to fitness walk the LA Marathon.

My targeted habit improvement:

Increase my mileage by 10% each week over the course of the next 30 days.

For example: Because I currently walk an average of 40 miles per week, for the next 30 days, I’ll walk:

9/22-9/28: 45 miles

9/29-10/5: 50 miles

10/6-10/12: 55 miles

10/13-10/19: 60 miles

What about you? What habits do you want to change? What new habits do you want to start?

You don’t have to make your decision now. It takes time to think and plan what you think is best for you.

For the “30 Day Challenge,” any start date you want that is comfortable for you is the way to go--it’s all about you, what you want, how you want it, and when you want it.

Changing bad habits or creating new ones is a win/win situation.

I'm going to start to incorporate Yoga into my daily mornings. I'll keep everyone posted about my progress. I've always been interested in this as I do isometrics each day.
Hello everyone, all systems are a go from my medical Doctor. I have comitted myself to take this seriously. So I believe that a 30 day challenge is good for me. I will allow my myself to be accountable to the 30 day challenge group and whom ever else I need to be. New habits smaller portion on the plates, doing my best to get more workouts in w/in my own limits, I really want to try a hi fiber diet. I see my Doctor tomorrow I will ask him about that . Due to my ailements. But I am ready. next I will weight in. hummm I currently weigh 360 I can't believe I typed that
this should be a no judgement zone.... my goal weight is 140 bmi 59.3 goal 23 whew I am ready.
I have ( CHF) Congestive Heart Failure amongst other things so I really have to work to my limits. So my Doctors says. and I agree. Ok This is going to be so awesome....I will start tomorrow after I see my Doctor. For 30 whole days. If I can cut out all of the whites. White bread, pasta, rice, and potaotes what a processes that alone would be.
