I know many people like different exercise, and basically exercise is a matter of choice. In fact, for someone to continuously do an exercise, they have to love it. What works for you?

for me, it is running---especially outside. It is something I can do anytime and almost anywhere.
I'm a Taebo fan! I did jogging a bit and got bored and wasn't able to lose the weight as quickly as when I do Taebo. I would recommend the Amped and Boot Camp videos...they can be killer! Especially the maximum power in the boot camp series, your arms and legs will be hurting. It's also really improved my balance and core strength....and my abs are alot harder...without sit-ups! I also go to his classes in Westlake Village, CA...those classes are 10x harder than the videos. The first time I went I almost lost my breakfast.
Pilates has made the most difference for me. I do pilates on the reformer twice a week, and also do cardio, weights, and yoga.
I've never been to a Pilates class and would love for you to tell us more about it, via your blog. And from what I've heard, yoga isn't easy.
I'd love to! And I just started a new yoga class, which is really great but REALLY DIFFICULT, lol!
I do different things and switch them up. I dance, do stretches, abdominal crunches, walk, elliptical. I also do Billy Blanks Wants to Kick Your @ss! When I was a member of a gym (before I moved) I took belly dancing classes, water aerobics, and lifted weights. Hopefully I can do these things again if they open up a gym in this small town. :)

But every day my exercise consists of dancing, stretching, floor exercises, walking and/or elliptical. The music really helps me. There's times when I feel like I have no energy but then a really good song comes on and I'm revved up! Somehow, I get the energy and go go go! I can't find a good cd store anywhere - it's like they disappeared. What happened to National Record Mart? Wal Mart doesn't have squat! The malls don't have any record stores. So I have to go online but I hate waiting for stuff - I want it NOW so I can get rejuvinated NOW.
I like running, dancing and strength training. If given the chance, then I strength train first.
I started Taebo again yesterday. I lost the most weight doing Taebo before but I stopped because I bought an elliptical, but it's time to get back to it. :)
You never heard of Billy Blanks? He invented Taebo which is aerobics that incorporates Tae Kwon Do and kick boxing. It's one of the hardest, if not THE hardest cardio aerobics on the market! A lot of people are scared off by it because of it's reputation but a lot of people who enjoy being tortured love it. I've got his Boot Camp Elite series complete with weighted bands. He's got a new "Amped" series which I don't have.
http://www.bcelite.com/ Hope the link works.

He also teaches classes in California I think, but those workout are MUCH harder than the videos. I love his videos because he is the 'real deal'! His videos are the for the serious aerobics enthusiasts!
We used to live near his studio. I'd walk by and see everyone working out, and it looked like they were having a lot of fun, but it also looked a bit intimidating.
So I bought the DVD, instead, lol!

There's also one called Turbo Jam, which is fun.
You lived near his studio? Cool! I don't have the Turbo Jam - still trying to get through the Boot Camp. :) I figure there's so many dvd's that I could just use those to lose a good bit of my weight because they're all different exercises with the same intensities - HARD!!!
Hey Lisa!
I am going to a meeting today about a group that is being formed for women who want to get healthy and am thinking about joining. I can send you a link to information about it if you're interested in seeing what it's all about.
Have a great day!
