I have positive and negative re-enforcements.

Positive: Trying on clothes. It's nice to see them a little bit bigger on me.

Negative: I think of the alternative which is to gain weight. If I tell myself I have nowhere to go but forward, then I just go forward.
Another positive one - when I visit my family/friends in Pittsburgh, I want them to say "damn! you look good". Or something to that affect. I'll be going home in a couple of months but really, that's not enough time for any big changes in me yet so I'll have to wait until Christmas - I should be a lot thinner by then.
My goals are much different than what my body does. haha I don't lose anything all month until a week after my TOM - then I lose 6 lbs. Plus, being this big - it's hard to notice anything unless you lose a substantial amount. I've only lost about 25 lbs and it shows in my face, and y clothes are a little looser but I still didn't lose a size. It's very slow and believe me, I'm working my butt off (exercise-wise).
