Mr. Linky - Add your blog to Tight Ass Tuesday's growing list

Tight Ass Tuesday Grab the Code:

“What? Only 8 minutes a Day?”

Yes.

“How do I do that?”

I’m glad you asked. It’s very simple:

8 Minutes to a Tight Ass

Minute

Exercise

Advanced

1

Squats

Add hand weights

1

Quadruped hip extensions

Add ankle weights

1

Lunges

Add hand weights

1

Hip Raises

Add speed

For optimum results, you should do this routine twice a day, 4 days per week.

I’ve started working with this routine for about 2 weeks and can already feel it—in both legs and ass.

I spread out these, first routine is in the morning, and then, the second late in the afternoon.

Currently, I’m using hand (8lb) and ankle (1.5lb) weights.

Be careful to monitor yourself, and if you need to, rest between each minute.

Does this look like something you could do?

Can you commit to 8 minutes a day? It’s a very short amount of time considering the benefits you’ll reap.

So grab the Tight Ass Tuesday badge and spread the word around, the few, the proud, the Iowa Avenue Tight Ass Tuesday Club, because

After all, it’s about a healthy lifestyle!

Rachyl Stone,

I think your plan with your daughter is very good and
in the world of motivation it's called 'law of attraction'.
Be sure to put the calendar at the place that you and
your daughter will see every day.

Hope that helps,

Seeing as how it's Tight Ass Tuesday, I thought I'd share my day with you. Today, I ate a turkey sandwich a while before my workout so I wouldn't be dizzy or nauseated while I was exercising. This was a very good idea. I was able to push myself harder than I have been. I did my Walk Strong video and I could feel a difference in the workout today. I really stepped it up a notch and it felt good. I did my yoga video afterwards and once again, it was so relaxing. I'm going to go to the library this weekend for a new yoga dvd, one that's a little more challenging. This one was a real door opener for me. I think a lot of overweight people are too self-conscious to try yoga, especially in a class in front of other people. Especially when the instructor is a tiny little thing and the other participants are very bendy. I feel more confident now and already I can tell my balance has improved tremendously. I can't wait to learn new poses! After dinner, I had a 1/2 cup serving size of ice cream. I felt so awful about it that I ran and grabbed my tennis shoes and jogged in place and did some upper body exercises with my dumbbells for the first hour of Biggest Loser. My daughter was in shock and awe. Not only did I grab my tennis shoes from the front room to exercise while I watched tv after I had just done 2 workouts already, but once I had my shoes in my hands, I RAN to the living room to put them on and get started. Man, this feels really great. I feel like my whole life is changing. I feel like a totally different person now. The World Inside My Head is definitely a different place these days. And I like this new place. It feels good. I feel more free. I feel like I've broken free from the chains of fat and I'm finally my own person now. I'm in charge of my destiny and it doesn't have to be a crappy one anymore.

Well, I don't have a tight ass...yet. But I'm hoping to have one soon. In fact, today my daughter and I are going to make a big poster calendar for each month with workouts written on them so we have no choice but to stick to something - for once!

I'm new to Iowa Avenue. My goal is to lose 25 pounds by my 25th birthday in February. My problem is that I lose interest so quickly that I need a little kick in the butt from my blogging buddies sometimes to keep me going. Have a great weekend everybody!

Since I joined this "Tight Ass Tuesday" group I thought I'd make it my way to remember to do one ass kicking glute routine on Tuesdays. Getting up to my forties has made me realize that this thing wants to slide down my legs! I'm all for forcing it up a bit, and working really hard to make that happen. I did 1 mile of lunges, as well as a few other workout gems I normally do. It was a great feeling to have accomplished my first "T.A.T" and I look forward to the rest.
