Email Support from a Registered Dietitian

Email Support from a Registered Dietitian

Until recently, consulting with a Dietitian was face to face. Now it can be done online via email. But what exactly is email support from a Registered Dietitian?

Email support provides the following features and benefits:

  • You don't have to leave your home or work
  • No gasoline or time expenditures
  • Designed for the hearing impaired
  • Access to those who live in remote areas
  • You are in control--you determine the treatment and advice that is comfortable for you
  • You are not obligated to appointments, follow-up treatment, or unwise advice done in haste
  • Anonomynity
  • Gives you the "zone of reflection" - the time lag between emails helps both the client and the counselor to reflect on the previous communication
  • There are no automated responses, only human to human contact via email
  • Helps you attain a healthy lifestyle, and provides advice for people that or overweight, obese, or have diabetes
  • Can help friends, family or loved ones

In our fast paced world, Professional Registered Dietitian counseling will become the norm rather than the exception.

It may not be for everyone, but, if you have read this far, you are a candidate for online counseling.

Iowa Avenue currently offers Email Support from a Registered Dietitian for $40 per month.

It's as simple as clicking on the "Add to Cart " button below.

See you on the web,

Diana Young, RD, LD/N, CDE, CPT Registered and Licensed Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Pump Trainer

My children went to see the documentary at the theater. After watching this, they plan to improve their shopping even more. I will eventually see it at least when it comes to DVD so I can forward some animal slaughter parts... :(

Great post! I clicked on the links and got even more information. I liked, "Focus on health, not diets" in one of them :)
