Honestly, I just want to be fit and healthy. I want to keep running this year, stick to my exercise program over the winter and shake those last 10 pounds that refuse to leave!
Favorite Music:
Mostly electronic, Dub and Ambient...like Chemical Brothers, Ott, Thievery Coproration. My musical tastes run from obscure to loud to psytrance to classical. It's a pretty open field...just no Zamphir please!
Favorite TV Shows:
BSG (new), Doctor Who, Torchwood...and pretty much any home reno show. Not much for TV...
What is your current exercise routine?
I slacked off for a few months (bad me) but I am getting back to the workouts before Christmas of:
Running/elliptical - 40 minutes every other day
Exercise ball overall muscle building/toning workout - other days of the week.
What diets have you tried?
Although I dabbled with Weight Watchers when I first started adressing my weight problem a few years ago, I've found it worked best for me to mainly focus on eating healthy, unprocessed foods, cutting out the junk and learning about proper portion sizes. I've tried to make my diet a change of lifestyle...it's worked so far. I'm down 30 pounds and much healthier!
What things do you want to do before you die?
Travel to the Mayan Riviera, China, India and Scotland, scuba dive in the coral reefs and ride a horse through the Indian deserts. I also wouldn't mind dogsledding through Alaska. Right now I'm trying to learn the art of poi - firespinning...I figure hey, what the hell!
