I am a cookbook author, culinary educator, freelance writer, Registered Dietitian, consultant and speaker -- all having to do with food and nutrition. I love helping people make changes in their eating.
Hi Jill - Yep, I'm just trying to figure how to work this too...I don't quite get the whole social site thing yet. But,I do have a blog so am dedicated to finding ways to grow a network.
You know, I'm starting a cookbook too. The natural second book in the series. I've written a proposal and am pitching it around to a few of the big culinary agents...it would be nice to just get a contract for it and maybe to repub the first book too. However, I am finding myself a little culinarily intimidated. I like to cook & have done a little restaurant work, but I feel I'm spreading myself a little thin, skill wise, to get into the 'what makes a published recipe really work' thing. I have another friend - Maureen Callahan - she's done recipes for some of the Mayo Clinic books and one of the big Harvard docs books too, but she know her stuff. And I thought of you -
If I could have a partner who'd at least review and give me advice on my recipes, or if someone would really coauthor and take a heavy hand in the culinary side of things, that would just help the project to be excellent and memorable...let me know if you want to see my proposal...
