- "May's Machete" is my Occam's Razor for the 21st century. I'm a writer, feminist, geek, and book-nerd with a BA in Creative Writing and a MA in Museum Studies. I am tempted to get a PhD in Media Studies, but I'm so sick of academia that I can't do it. I work in communications for an environmental non-profit, Bridging The Gap.

- I want to consciously live the best possible life I can and share my joy with others.

- What is your current exercise routine?
- Sun Salutation & other yoga poses every morning. I walk to work every day (6 blocks) and walk to do errands once a week or so. Then, every other day I do a routine of exercises I've personalized to work on my "problem areas" and to generally keep myself fit. This includes sit-ups, push-ups, bicycle crunches, wall squats, weighted punching exercises and more.
- What diets have you tried?
- I am on a vegetarian diet and I love it! I've never had such diversity in my menu or felt so healthy.
- What things do you want to do before you die?
- Have babies and live a long full life with my man, find a girl to fit our poly lifestyle, work in the non-profit sector and do good!
- What is your favorite book?
- Watership Down

Food Inc. is playing in San Francisco Bay Area theaters. I am not sure if plays where you live. It is a powerful documentary. My children saw it when it was released. I haven't seen it yet... at least when it comes to DVD. I will forward some anim...
