Today I went to gym to take a class we call TBC (total body condition), basically, it's a boot camp class which brings in weights, the stability ball, medicine ball, the track, a step and even the stairs. Unfortunately, I can't always attend this class as much as I would like to because it is a great energy boost at the beginning of my week and it puts me in my place as far as my physical abilities. Since I can't always make it to this class I have designed several mini-workouts I do at home…

I don't watch Ellen much anymore either. She is just so funny and clean, my kids love her too. I need to tape a few of her shows so I can catch up.

Welcome to Iowa Avenue.
Since I could not make it to the gym I decided to turn my house work into my workout...It's a good thing the Samaritan House is coming to pick up some large items because they will be leaving with a truck full of other stuff. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I climbed by stairs today carrying stuff up and down. To top off my day I decided to mow the lawn for the first time this year. The day was great and I am pretty sure I caught up with my workout by now.
What a productive day this turned out to be.
I guess today I can say that I was fortunate enough to have been caught talking, laughing or with improperly ironed uniforms because I use these drills in my class at the gym or at home with the kids--it's all fun for them.
