I was athletic until my mid-twenties. I shared my wife's cravings through three pregnancies and never lost the weight - 200 pounds of it. She did. I decided, May 21, 2007, that I'd had enough and set out to lose weight before any serious health problems set in. I set a goal to lose 150 lbs between my next two birthdays (#46 and #47), did some research, and went at it. When birthday #47 came I was 148 pounds lighter. My goal is to lose another 40 pounds by the time #48 rolls in.
