What are your goals?: I've recently left my job of 5 1/2 years as VP of Sales for a large internet company in order to pursue my NESTA Fitness Nutrition Certification, focus on developing my blog, obtaining additional certifications and freelance writing (I currently write for www.mindbodysanctuary.com).

Favorite Music:: Classic rock, Old time crooners, 1970s folk (JT, Carly Simon, Bob Dylan, et al)

Favorite TV Shows:: Stuff I grew up with - Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, MASH. Newer shows include Biggest Loser and shows on HGTV and Food Network.

What is your favorite book?: I have a nightstand stacked with books. Anyone of them can become my next favorite!

It's great to hear from others who successfully transitioned to their own business in the fitness/nutrition field. Since I launched my blog in April I truly feel as if the universe is conspiring on my behalf.

I see you received certification from the NASM. I'm considering that as my next stop on the certification circuit. There's so many certification programs to choose from, it's difficult to decide!
