Mrs. Idaho International Pageant

I had the biggest pay off last night when I handed the award for being

Miss Teen Idaho International 2nd runner up. I took it as a wonderful compliment!! I had a good laugh. I owe it to all of those years of staying out of the sun and the use of microdermabrasion and my

The Dr. OZ Show!



Dr. Oz found my weight loss story on line. I was asked to come to NY and tape a show where I am a mentor to 3 former beauty pageant queens who have had weight loss struggles for years. I am so blessed that he found my story. I love being a mentor to these 3 wonderful women. I will be back on the show a few more times. On the last visit one of the 3 ladies will win the title of the next Miss. Dr. OZ.

What is Type 2 diabetes?

Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes. In type 2 diabetes, either the body does not produce enough insulin or the cells ignore the insulin. Insulin is necessary for the body to be able to use glucose for energy. The Mrs. Idaho International Pageant





I had a great night. I made the Top 5 in the pageant. I got the spirit of pageantry award AKA: Mrs. Congeniality and I got the community service award. It's been 20 yrs since I have been on stage. I had a blast. Most of all it's been such a great way to spread my message of hope with living with Type 2 diabetes which I will continue to do!!
