There was a couple of things I liked - and yes I read the whole thing! :)

8. Step away from the scale. I need to do this!
9. Personalize your own plan. I change my exercise plan frequently.
25. Breath, don't gasp. I have to learn to do this one.
46. Take a time out. I'm a little more relaxed on weekends.

Good article :)

Some of these are good, and others, I have a problem with. #19 is one of the worst ideas, IMHO.

If someone wants to dine alone, then by all means, go for it, but using it as part of a weight loss strategy doesn't work for me because:

1. People who eat together tend to talk more, thus eating less.
2. A family meal is one of the best ways to keep your kids healthy. Keeping in touch with their activities, discussing family plans, or even upcoming events are all part of family dinners.
3. Eating alone would tend to usually in front of the TV or maybe the computer, which isn't the best idea. When you're eating, you should be concentrating on the food, enjoying the food, and actually tasting the food. No distractions with eating...................:)

Thanks for sharing the article............:)

hey people
I'm glad you all found something you liked about the article.

Hey Carol, 9 is significant because adjusting your workout often will help anyone to grow. Targeting muscles with different workouts you commonly do not practice will surprise your body.

Hey Lisa
I agree, you said, "Eating alone would tend to usually in front of the TV or maybe the computer, which isn't the best idea." I know this to certainly be the case, even in many of my own experiences, including that of family and friends.

Hey Sheila
Your right, techniques will not work for everyone. Everyone has specific needs; what works for me may not necessary work for you. Knowing your strengthens and weaknesses is essential. I know my strong and weak points when it comes to weight lifting, running, etc.

Hey Cynthia
I agree with you about Snacking on Cereal. I'd rather have some fruit or nuts. Like you, I enjoy the accountability factor.

Thanks everyone for commenting about the article. Have a pleasant weekend!
