Think…….Learn……….Plan………Do...….Achieve

When starting an exercise program, of course, the first step is a plan. Think what you want to achieve, Learn the necessary steps you need to take to reach your goals, and then, create a workout Plan.

Now, you have a well-thought out workout plan, consisting of cardo and strength training. You’ve planned the times you’ll be able to workout. Or maybe you joined a local gym or workout class. You’re excited and ready to move forward.

Now, you need accountability. So, to help keep you and me, on track, I’m changing the name of the Exercise Programs group to the “Did you exercise today?”

Here, you’ll be able to share your daily exercises, regardless as to what it is; running, walking, lifting weight, mowing the lawn, or ironing. It’s all good.

Think……..Learn………Plan……..Do

So, each day, when you finish your workout, or in the morning, when you check out the new blog posts, make a quick comment sharing your exercise for the day or the exercise you enjoyed yesterday. Sharing exercise gives other people the benefit of supporting and motivating you, plus, gives them new ideas.

As your exercise program goes from just a thought to doing, the obvious final step is Achieve.

What do you achieve? I know you know the answer, so you tell me, because,

After all, it’s about a healthy lifestyle!

I do my isometrics 2x a day and swim 3 - 4 x a week. When I was younger and had more time I used to swim more and surf more.

Hopefully, one day that will happen again. I think that, having a plan, is probably sage advice especially for those that need that type of accountability to themselves as well as for their own health.
