So I started the Couch to 5K program today! Woo. The first day consists of a 5 minute warm up walk, then 60 seconds of running followed by 90 seconds of walking until you hit 20 minutes. It's a little unclear if the 5 minute warm up walk is included in the 20 minutes, so I didn't include it. All together, I was on the treadmill for 25 minutes.

Hmm-- maybe I should keep track of distances here. My walk speed was 3.7 and my run speed was 5.0. It's not too fast, but the website says not to focus on speed, but getting through it all. I'll work on speed after I finish the program and am comfortable and need more of a challenge.

The workout itself was fine. It was difficult, but not unmanageable or anything.

I did have fries today at the mall with some friends from school. Ohhh wells. I'm hoping I can still eat like I normally do which is pretty healthy for the most part, but working in the exercise will help me out.

I thought the same thing-- that's not that much of a commitment; I can do this.

Awesome! I'm not running today as I have to drive like a madman around the mid-atlantic today, but good luck!!
