Comment by Amelia on September 3, 2008 at 7:56pm: Thanks guys. I live in the 'food basket' of my country, meaning most of our food are grown in my area. So there's lots of pretty 'green' shots. The crops usually make lovely pics, but there has been some flood damage recently due to heavy rains.

Btw, its not my chair Susana, its a relaxing spot for one of the farmers. Dont know how they can work so hard in that blistering heat. The banana trees and coconut trees are planted to act as wind breakers. Those bananas are wild and not really palatable. But the birds love them.

Comment by Amelia on September 4, 2008 at 5:00am: ATD, the building is the nur e islam masjid. Its one of the mosques in the neighbourhood. (for those who may not know, a mosque is a muslim temple) I thought the pic is appropriate cos its the holy month of Ramadaan where muslims fast from sunup to sundown.
