Sitting at the tipping point...I need a Jamaica Me Crazy

I hate to say that this is one of those classic, "So um I haven't posted in a while, but here goes" posts, but well, it is.

Good. Got that off my chest, so now I am free to complain about something else. I seem to be whining and complaining a lot, but my readership over on Almost Fit actually spiked by 140 new subscribers in a single day, so I must be doing something right.

Unfortunately, what I am not doing right, is breaking through my plateau weight-wise. For the last several weeks I have been sitting within .6 lbs, that is roughly 1/2 a pound, of my lowest weight in several years. 1/2 a pound! My weight of course fluctuates from day to day, but I am one of those believers in averages over several weigh-ins, and as much as I would like to say I did dip below, well, not just yet.

But I think this week is the week. I'm planning on a decent run tomorrow, which I've not had honestly in a couple weeks. Huh - imagine that - stuck on a weightloss plateau and by sheer coincidence, not exercising regularly. Somebody ought to alert the Mayo Clinic - I may be on to something here.

How about you? Stuck? Losing? Gaining? Wii-ing?

You already answered your own question, Metroknow. Exercise, exercise, exercise....................!!

Sounds like a plateau. And you’ve got a great answer: Activity
Activity burns calories and builds muscle which in turn increases your BMR.
Good Luck.
You might also try changing your intake, like increasing your protein for a while. Your body is just stuck in a rut. Give yourself a pat on the back for what you have already accomplished. Everyone has plateaus and you are no different.

You are both, of course, right. :)
