Why does this matter?
"Obesity raises concern because of its implications for the health of Americans. Obesity increases the risk of many diseases and health conditions."
These conditions/diseases include heart disease, some cancers, stroke, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, respiratory problems, dyslipidemia (high cholesterol levels), and others.
