Diet tips to be followed for Ayurvedic arthritis treatment:

· During arthritis treatment foods which are easily digestible and do not create storm or gas. Vegetable juices and soups, juices of carrot, beat root and cucumber and fruits like apples, oranges, grapes and papaya are the best diet for treating arthritis.
· Keep away from eating hot, spicy and fried foods, sweets, and storm forming foods like cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, broccoli, okra and potatoes should be outlawed. Stay away from taking too much tea, coffee, alcohol, white sugar, yogurt, chocolate and cocoa.
· Avoid sleeping during daytime, staying up delayed in the night and intellectual tensions like worry, anxiety, fear, stress and grief.
· Normal physical exercise, exercises for the supporting musculature, and daily massage with oil, are the essential element during arthritis treatment.
· Focus on weight loss, if you weigh less, then there is less weight on your joints and therefore less pain

Ayurvedic Medicine is valuable to people of all ages because of the holistic nature and philosophy of treating the root cause of symptoms. It is sensible to perform some research and choose a therapist who is either a member of, or accredited by, an association or professional body. Ayurvedic practitioners are constrained to a code of ethics and process that finds out the therapy is carried out in a appropriate and safe environment.
