Today, someone (Holly) asked me what my goals and missions were. I looked at her and with a blank and somewhat confused face, turned and walked away from her and headed back into my office. I couldn’t answer her, for that moment I couldn’t believe it, but I forgot what they were. My goals? My mission? I can’t even remember the person I just had a 45 minute conversation with on the phone was, so who would expect me to remember my goals. Right?

Ah, so wrong. For that moment I realized I’ve let my guard down and lost my purpose for a short while. I needed that one person to ask me that one question to snap my out of my fog. Your goals, your mission, your moto, your life’s purpose, whatever you have named it…. should and foremost be somewhere visible to you 24 hours a day, even if you know it by heart or whether you don‘t, write it down post it, slap it and stick it on every surface you can find. Our goals give us something to look forward to, and without that- something to look forward to - we remain monitored and in robotic state.

So, just to answer you Ms. Holly, some of my business goals are the following:
1. Help women be more in touch with their bodies and with who they are.
2. Assist women in making truly informed choices about their health and well-being, supplementation speaking.
3. Educate as many women on natural approaches to weight loss and other natural solutions for other ailments.
4. Change our perspectives towards our self image, help women re-program their thinking to love the body they have now, the soul and heart that God gave them now….in the present.

Many women of America do not understand their bodies very well at all. In fact, we don’t understand many of the health issues women face because our government decided some time ago that we should not be intelligently informed. Although, many of us see doctors and other health providers as the answers to all, it’s sad to say that they have not been intelligently informed either. With all due respect to the medical profession, doctors are not taught natural solutions in school. They are not taught about natural remedies, nutrition, herbs, stress management , relaxation techniques nor are they taught about how to manage their practices. Preventative maintenance- what’s that? 10 years ago, that word was shunned upon, especially through insurance health care providers. Anything that was coded for maintenance care was immediately DENIED! Sadly, all of these are critical for your best health, and the medical society should have been responsible for some of it.

My sister is a Chiropractor, and from the moment I began working for her I learned the importance of finding the cause not just medicating it. Getting to the root of the cause, finding answers to why we feel the way we do, why the body reacts in certain situations, instead of just having some M.D. not look me in the eyes and just write an RX to make me feel better. That‘s not what I want, nor what we should stand for. Since working for her, I find that my mission, my goals are to help women find the cause, the root and go forward from there- not just slap a band aide on our injury or illness and hope for the best.

Our perceptions and attitudes are crucial factors in any health condition and whether or not your experience will be positive or negative. My wish is that every woman come to a realization of their worth, develop new and healthy perceptions of yourself, your body, your health and your lifestyle because the most powerful experience is when you finally and truthfully reconnect to your innate feminine spirit, and know that you are a unique and special women~ One of a Kind who deserves only the best life has to offer!
