As much as I hate to admit it, I’m fast approaching the big 50, and losing a few pounds has become increasingly difficult. Partly because I’m a foodie that loves to cook and loves to eat, and partly because my body has decided to jump ship when it comes to burning those extra calories.
When it comes to losing weight my favorite mantra is “calories in - calories out.” These days the calories in seem to be sticking no matter how hard I work at the calories out.
So, I’ve decided a new tactic is in order, inspired by some of my favorite magazines. Making sure my meals are under 400 calories. Three 400 calorie meals and two 100 calorie snacks. That should knock the stuffing out of those extra few pounds in no time flat.
