Mini-Meals - Towards a Healthier You
By Jonathan Jenkins
Ever wondered why bodybuilders make sure to have six to seven meals a day? Mini-meals are a great way to increase your metabolism and help you lose weight. Eating more frequent, smaller meals will not make you gain weight. On the contrary, it will make you lose weight since your stomach will be fooled into feeling full all the time.
How can you make use of this secret? Make sure you make petit meals and keep them in your fridges in small containers that are packed to go. All you need is a fork and the will to stick to this new plan. The trick is to split your main meals into two, meaning that instead of eating one huge breakfast, split it into two meals let's call this breakfast (1) and breakfast (2) spacing them only 4 hours apart. Try to create variety in the two, since it will tricking your stomach. Split up lunch and dinner in the same way, but make sure to keep the last meal in the day light and green - since it helps you sleep.
Are you feeling guilty about this plan? Don't. You are most definitely not grazing, this is just the same amount of food you eat in three meals, only split it into six. This diet works out great because with time you won't even feel the need to snack since mini meals replace snacks. You won't find space for candy, chocolate, and soda with such a fixed schedule.
Consulting a doctor before starting the mini-meals diet is advisable; he can help you organize your diet choices. This diet is the road to success for any dieter, it keeps you full and away from binge attacks at all times!
