Quotes to Live By Contest

Another day at the office and silly lil Holly looks at me with a serious face (for once) and says to me, "Kelly, what is your favorite quote"? Immediately, I thought of the one I always use which is "Everyday isn't perfect, that is why God created tomorrow"! Love that one, but I hesitated and I told her I'd get back to her.
So, I'm at Ross walking down the ilse with the picutres and suddenly the "Quote" hit me. So, I pulled out my trusty lil phone and texted her my quote and that was it. A few days later she comes into my office and says...

"Ok, kelly, want to know why I wanted your quote", sure I said. She pulls out this book and said I've collected from all my friends and family their favorite quote and have written it down in this book, it's part of my 100 things I want to do in life". I thought to myself, this girl is so amazing and how cool is that. Here I am spending all my time on work and thinsg of that nature which I view as a "have to" that I completely forget about the "want to" do things on my list. This is a lesson for myself today. I'm leaving work early and going to finish my halloween set up for the kids to get spooked by!

As far as the moral of this blog, don't forget to do the things you love and if you need to as a reminder, make yourself a list of a 100 things you want to do before you die.

So, in saying all that as she read some of the quotes she has collected I thought what a cool thing to do, start a website of Quotes to live by. BINGO.......we'd love to hear your quote, the one that gives you meaning, brings a tear, makes you laugh or just feel good.
