This post hit's home to me and was my problem for many years when I struggled with my weight. I think it's important to bring up.
Most of us do compare ourselves to others. It's usually a deep rooted
problem with the inability to really love yourself. I remember having
this problem. It took me years to except who I was. It started when I
was overweight and stopped when I was overweight. I use to think of
myself as just another fat person. Sometime after my daughter was born
in 2000 I realized I was not what I weigh and I stopped beating myself
up for being overweight. I started to see myself as god saw me. I
realized that no matter what size I was I had worth. I hope you can do
the same.
It is hard not to compare ourselves to others. Esp at least for me when i already stood on shaky ground because of my weight
issues. Hard or not start looking at yourself differently. Today!!
Self doubt causes fear. Fear stops progression. Sitting still in life and
watching it go by is no fun. No matter where you are at in your life
push yourself a bit more. Work hard on living your passion and don't
let life pass you by. YOU are worth living! YOU are needed. YOU are
deserving of a good life and a happy life. YOU are good enough!!
Look in a mirror and say this: " I am a very unique, special and valuable person. I deserve to feel good about myself." Repeat this again and again and again until it really sinks in.
Here are some other Ideas to help you feel good!
Exercise: Moving your body not only makes you feel better but helps the body rid of stress.
Spend time with people: make sure it is people who make you feel good about yourself and not negative people who can drain your energy.
Do something nice for another person: Doing this can take your mind off your own trials and help brighten someones day.
NUMBER one and to me the most important is SMILE!! You really are wonderful! You need to start treating yourself this way!
