No, it's not what you think.

I'm talking about your first time doing something you never believed could be accomplished - stepping out of the "I wish" or "maybe one day" phase and actually living what you dream about.

I did my first hike ever last weekend and will do my first half marathon next month. I also started my first blog, Yum Yucky, and I'm on my way to my first certification as a personal trainer.

But wait. Isn't this the kind of stuff I'm supposed to sit back and watch other people accomplish? I used to think so, but not anymore.

How many first times will you have in the next 3 months? How many this year?

Will your first time mean starting an exercise program? Starting college? Writing a book? The mere thought of your first time may give you butterflies of anxiety and conjure up feelings of doubt, but don't let the opportunity for your first time slip away. Go out and do it for the very first time.

Nice post, Josie. Good point and observations--doing is always better than thinking.
