About Me:
I've tried losing weight before and succeeded, but never managed to keep it off. First time, injury threw me... second major weight loss attempt, death of my parents threw me off my good habits. Now, I'm giving it another shot. I lost over 30 pounds last year and while I did regain some over the holidays, I've nearly lost that and hope to lose another 30 pounds this year. I'm in it for the long haul!

What are your goals?
Right now, I'm trying to keep a goal of eating 5-6 meals a day and drinking a gallon of water. Exercise is around 4x - 5x a week. That can be tough, I'm suffering from plantar fasciitis, so a lot of my exercise must be in the pool. I just bought a TRX suspension trainer though and I like that!

I hope to get below 200 pounds by the end of 2008.
Favorite Music:
I like rock 'n roll, but also like jazz, celtic, classical and folk.
Favorite TV Shows:
Biggest Loser, ER, Dancing with the Stars, Desperate Housewives in no particular order.
What is your current exercise routine?
Water aerobics and Nordic Track. TRX suspension trainer bodyweight workouts.
What diets have you tried?
Precision Nutrition. I think this one is a fit for life!
What things do you want to do before you die?
Get to my goal weight. Be stronger!
What is your favorite book?
Too many to pick just one!

The Vita-Mix is one of those appliances that if you love and use it every day like I did, you will mourn its demise. I earned a President's Challenge Award!

Just one decision away from goal!

I've procrastinated... my taxes still aren't done. I am rather caught up on reading and commenting on blogs though. Didn't exercise. OTOH, still sore from Saturday's workout, so a little more recovery probably isn't a bad thing. Tomorrow I plan to exercise as per usual, but after that, I've got to buckle down on the paperwork. It is impossible to stay off your feet. Don't go barefoot. Not even in the house.That makes a big difference.

hi, Love your cat. Looks just like one of my grandcats. Whenever I cat sit she has to sleep with me. She wants to groom me first! LOL I had plantar fasciitis. Poor you. That hurts. I got orthotics for my shoes. I don't go barefoot anymore, not even in the house. I wear crocks in the house. I had injections in the heal. That seemed to fix them up. I am not bothered too much by that anymore but I do have to be careful. Good thing. It doesn't have to be permanent. Exercise in the pool is great and it won't stress out your joints either.

Are you really drinking a gallon of water? 1/2 gallon would be more than enough. 8 - 8 ounce cups per day = 64 ounces. Don't want you to get water intoxicated.
